Aluminum Shutters

Lexan Shutters

• All lexan does not meet BOCA(Florida) code, please check your local code if outside of Florida
• Protect windows and doors from winds up to 150 mph
• Passes Florida Building Codes (FBC) and Miami Dade small and large missile impact requirements
• Offer four times the impact strength of 1/2" plywood
• Absorb energy generated by impact with its innovative design

Horizontal Mounting

BOCA vs. Non-BOCA Hardware
BOCA (also known as the National Building Code and International Building Code) refers to a set of standards established by the Building Officials Code Administration. BOCA hardware standards for hurricane shutters require no more than a 6" space between hardware, while non-BOCA hardware can be installed with up to a 12" space. There is no other difference between the hardware.
