This vertical door installation hardware set is designed for securing hurricane shutters and panels on door openings using either BOCA or non-BOCA compliant configurations. The system provides a complete fastening solution for mounting and securing hurricane panels using a combination of track hardware and anchoring components.

Each set includes a set of specialized fasteners that allow for secure installation of H-track and reverse F-track systems, ensuring strong attachment to both concrete and structural wall surfaces. Depending on your setup, the set can be used with a standard Reverse F Track or paired with a Reverse Studded Angle for simplified installation.

Florida Building Code/Non-BOCA Requires a minimum of one hardware set every 12 inches, providing reliable panel attachment while maintaining standard code compliance for most applications.

BOCA Standard Requires one hardware set every 6 inches, offering tighter spacing for increased strength and improved performance in higher wind conditions.

Standard Installation (H-Track + Reverse F-Track)

1. Use the concrete screw anchor to mount the H-track above the door
2. Install the machine screw anchor on the lower wall/concrete section
3. Position the reverse F-track and secure it using the sidewalk bolt
4. Slide square head track bolts into the F-track
5. After placing the hurricane panel, secure everything using the wing nut

Installation with Reverse Studded Angle (H-Track + Reverse Studded Angle)

1. Install H-track using the concrete screw anchor (top of door)
2. Install machine screw anchor at bottom wall/concrete section
3. Secure reverse F-track using sidewalk bolt
4. Since the BERTHA plate includes pre-installed bolts, square head track bolts are not required
5. Place hurricane panel and secure using wing nut
